Careers Expo 2018 will take off alongside the very first VET Expo.2018 is a special year for Careers Expo. From 17-20 May, WA’s only complete careers event will expand to include even more inspiration on vocational education and training.
Alongside the usual huge array of WA tertiary colleges and universities, and institutions from across the country, you’ll find a dedicated exhibition of VET providers – from bricklaying to drone operating, hairdressing to multimedia design, flight school to personal training.
Careers Expo 2018 and VET Expo 2018 will be at the spectacular Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Entry is free.
Over four days, nearly 100 exhibitors – universities, TAFEs, government departments, training providers and employers – will present a huge range of career and employment pathways.
It’s an unmissable opportunity for students in years 9–12 to decide on tertiary or vocational courses or to select upper-school subjects, and to get face-to-face with employers. It’s also great inspiration for adults looking for an exciting change of career.
The event has been staged every year since 2000, with nearly 150,000 students and parents having so far attended.
Talk with all of WA’s universities and major training and vocational organisations, all under one roof.
